Terms of Service

1. About Storcea

Storcea (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a software-as-a-service platform that enables merchants to create online storefronts linked to WhatsApp and SMS. By creating an account or using our platform, you (“you” or “Merchant”) agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use Storcea. By using our platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at storcea.team@gmail.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Storcea to:

• Sell counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods or services
• Engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, or harm any person
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without notice.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

Storcea offers three subscription tiers:

• Free — GH₵ 0/month. Limited to 20 products and 1 image per product. Storcea badge displayed on storefront. Multi-channel order routing (WhatsApp + SMS — buyers choose their preferred contact channel at checkout) included. Order tracking link for buyers included. Maintenance mode (temporarily pause storefront) included.
• Starter — GH₵ 50/month or GH₵ 500/year. Up to 50 products, up to 3 images per product, no Storcea badge, product pinning, visibility controls, compare-at pricing, customer database, free shipping threshold, promo codes, storefront themes, and AI product description writer.
• Pro — GH₵ 100/month or GH₵ 1,000/year. Everything in Starter plus unlimited products, unlimited product images, analytics dashboard (incl. profit & margin), low-stock email alerts, AI shopping assistant on storefront, email order notifications, and Record Offline Sale.

Subscriptions are billed in advance via Mobile Money transfer. Prices are listed in Ghana Cedis (GH₵) and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Annual Starter subscribers may upgrade to annual Pro at any time. The unused value of the remaining Starter period is credited toward the annual Pro plan — you pay only the difference, and a new one-year Pro subscription begins on the upgrade date. Switching from an annual plan to a monthly plan is not available while a subscription is active. Monthly subscribers must wait until their current billing period expires before changing plans. Downgrades and same-tier renewals are not available while a subscription is active.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Storcea (product images, descriptions, store details). By uploading content, you grant Storcea a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content for the purpose of operating your storefront.

All Storcea software, branding, and platform code remain the exclusive property of Storcea.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Storcea shall not be liable for any losses arising from downtime, service interruptions, or technical errors beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storcea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms. Upon termination, your storefront will be taken offline. You may contact us at storcea.team@gmail.com to request permanent deletion of your account data.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the dashboard. Continued use of Storcea after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
